Java Notes


If you have been following the rapidly changing world of the internet, you may have heard of the new technology called Java. When a site contains Java, special software located on the web site is sent to and is run on the viewers computer. A more technical explanation can will make it more dynamic and interesting.
Although they are similar in name, java and javascript are quite different. Java makes use of special "applet" files which stands for "small applications". Javascript, which is simpler and less powerful than java, works without special files.
