The WebCars! site first appeared on the world wide web in June 1995, making it an oldtimer in web years. Our goal was to provide high quality editorial content for automobile enthusiasts.

In the years that followed, the WebCars! site grew in editorial content and sophistication. We produced a series of trivia tests using custom designed CGI PERL scripts, and worked with animated GIFs, ISMAPing, Java and JavaScript techniques. We have always made a point to use these exotic capabilities not to demonstrate the technologies but to effectively communicate a message.
